Felt+Fat is a collaborative ceramic design and manufacturing studio based in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Started in 2013 as a one-off project for chef Eli Kulp, partners Nate Mell and Wynn Bauer have rapidly expanded their repertoire through constant material exploration, process-driven design and further collaborations with like-minded creatives in a variety of fields.
This year, Felt+Fat will transplant a piece of their Kensington showroom to Sight Unseen OFFSITE. Along with a fresh spring color palette, Felt+Fat will debut a line of tableware inspired by contemporary mutations in the world of fast/casual food. Expanding out of the kitchen and dining room, Mell and Bauer will be on hand to show off a variety of new pieces for the home including planters, functional ceramic hardware and wearable glaze objects.
