The studio of Eric Trine is a Long Beach, California–based design practice, focused on product and furniture design. The small team designs and develops products in-house, then sources manufacturing from a variety of vendors, all within a 30-mile radius of the studio. The studio produces its own house line of goods available through an online shop, and a number of retailers nationwide. Recently, the studio launched into design licensing and collaborated on a full collection for kid-centric retailer The Land of Nod.
This year at Sight Unseen OFFSITE, Eric Trine Studio will be debuting a whole new series of pieces entitled: Pre Classical Post Nouveau Pop Perf Collection — or #PCPNPPC for short. The entire collection is a subtle nod to the pre-classical shape of the arch. All of the forms originate from the shape of the arch, and then are bent and perforated and formed to create a series of smaller home accessories — from a toilet paper holder to a series of nesting tables.
