Crosby Studios

Crosby Studios was founded in 2014 as a collaboration between architect Harry Nuriev and Dmitry Vorontsov. The studio’s aesthetic is rooted in simple forms and clean proportions, applied to a variety of projects — from public spaces to private interiors, from furniture to graphic design.

For Sight Unseen OFFSITE, Crosby Studios will show its second collection of signature objects — a chair, a free-standing library bookcase in two sizes, a chandelier and a carpet — under a name Collection 2. In Collection 2, Nuriev focused on minimalism and found inspiration in the Sanctuary of Fortuna Primigenia (Palestrina), the Egyptian Temple of Hatshepsut and the shapes used by Russian suprematists.
