100xbtr produces a small line of furniture, lighting, and home goods with an emphasis on balancing structure and form with an economy of production. The studio, led by Brendan Sowersby, explores ways to create beautiful and profound objects, which can be manufactured in an efficient manner, blending digital fabrication tools like 3D printers and CNC machines with more classic techniques like woodworking, glassblowing, bronze-casting and ceramics. In addition, 100xbtr creates custom furniture and cabinetry for celebrity clients, Los Angeles boutique hotels, museums, and corporate HQs.
For the second year in a row, 100xbtr will share a booth with Bari Ziperstein of BZIPPY & CO. The booth will have paired vignettes with over 25 new ceramic wares of new large-scale terra cotta vessels, Circle Top Vases and new terra-cotta rope vessels displayed both on the floor and on several new wood side tables. 100xbtr with display a pair of paperstone DB black leather cushioned chairs, a fully upholstered chair and a new Stoolback chair in black dye and ash. Both lines inform and enhance each other, providing a dynamic new dialogue in California Design yet to be seen in NYC.
